Dr. Karen Kurtas has been practicing chiropractic since 1998. She opened her Kimberton office in February of 2000.
She was born and raised in the area and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Eastern University in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Dr. Kurtas received her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, Georgia where she was able to assist the 1996 Olympic Athletes.
She has taken care of many professional athletes including runners, wrestlers, football players, swimmers, gymnasts, rock climbers, cyclists and triathletes. Dr. Kurtas has always been interested in sports and nutrition. She has taken many nutrition classes in the Human Nutrition Ph.D. program at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Kurtas is a member of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association and The Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is also an active member of the Phoenixville YMCA and a volunteer for numerous youth sports programs. Dr. Kurtas has spoken to an array of adult communities as well as children's groups about chiropractic and nutrition to aid the community in achieving happier, healthier lives.
Dr. Kurtas's purpose has always been to educate and adjust as many families as possible towards optimal health through natural, gentle chiropractic care.
